Canadian 3PLs serve clients with different shipping patterns: domestic e-commerce, cross-border orders to the United States, wholesale and retail replenishment. Many clients have unique handling rules and billing arrangements. A platform has to track each client’s stock separately, work on the warehouse floor, and produce the reports and invoices clients expect.
LogixPlatform and LogixFlow work together. LogixPlatform is LogixGRID’s logistics and supply chain platform and already includes the warehouse management (WMS) and 3PL modules. LogixFlow is the no-code layer on top: when your operation needs a flow the standard modules do not cover, such as a client-specific intake, approval or reporting process, you design it yourself and connect it to LogixPlatform.
Customer-specific workflows and permissions mean each client can have its own process without affecting the others, and the platform connects to ERP and finance systems.
| 3PL need | How it works in LogixFlow |
|---|---|
| Client-by-client inventory | Stock tracked by client, item and location, with a separate view per client |
| Receiving and putaway | Mobile scanning in the LogixHub app, works offline |
| Order intake | Manual entry, file upload, email intake with the Email Reader agent, or Shopify |
| Shopify connections | Workflow Shopify Plugin to read and write orders and fulfilments |
| Returns | Receive, inspect, grade and route returned goods by disposition rules |
| Client visibility | Client portal where each client signs in to see their own inventory, orders and shipments, with role-based access |
| Billing inputs | Storage, handling and value-added activity recorded per client and billed through LogixPlatform |
| Accounting | Pre-built connections to QuickBooks and Xero; Microsoft Dynamics and other accounting or ERP systems are built per customer |
| Reports | Reporting agent produces scheduled client and management summaries |
Returned goods need receiving, inspection, grading and a decision: restock, refurbish, return to vendor or dispose. LogixPlatform includes the warehouse and 3PL modules for receiving, inventory and fulfilment. Where a client needs a different returns flow, you design it on LogixFlow and run it alongside LogixPlatform.
